NUNSENSE

Nunsense has been a popular and fun musical for many years. Winner of four Outer Critics Circle Awards including Best Off Broadway Musical in its original New York production. The show is a fund raiser put on by the Little Sisters of Hoboken to raise money to bury sisters accidentally poisoned by the convent cook, Sister Julia (Child of God). The show has been up dated with new jokes, additional lyrics, two new arrangements and a brand new song.

The Crystal Springs Players opened their spring production of "Nunsense" on Friday, February 29, 2008 followed by their renowned Gala.

The Gala was prepared by Ivoni Maama and her committee and held in the newly renovated Fireside Room. The room was decorated in black and white to fit the nun theme of the play.

The play goers, many in formal or dress attire, received a photo in a keepsake holder to commemorate the festivenight.

The Gala, with a theme befitting the play, has been a fixture on opening night for the Players since 1999.
