Spirituality for Busy People
Welcome

You are busy living the life of a modern person. Frustrations and fatigue occur. Yet, God is alive and well in the midst of your life, wanting to relate to you as the special, wonderful, beautiful person you are.

Our "busy-ness" often distracts us from developing our relationship to God.

It is our hope that each week we can offer you a single phrase which you can memorize and apply to your life, helping you to focus your life around God's love for you. Take the phrase and think about it as often as you can while you do what ever you do.

The suggestion will be based on the Church's scriptural reading for the week to come. It will be expanded in the scriptural discussion and sermon given in worship at the Crystal Springs United Methodist Church each Sunday at 10:00.

These suggestions cannot possibly replace the traditional ways of relating to God. Taking time for prayer, making a retreat, pausing for worship, helping someone in need, studying the wisdom of the ages, being vulnerable to the Spirit in someone else-all help us relate to God in much greater depth. But it is our hope that these brief "bits of wisdom" will aid you in your journey when time prevents you from practicing these more spiritual disciplines.

Let us know how else we can be of help.

For your spiritual growth,

Dr. Paul Sweet, Pastor
